When do nominations open and close?

Nominations open on Monday 2 June 2025, and close at 5pm on Monday 4 August 2025.

Who can apply?

Australian citizens or permanent residents resisiding in Australia or abroad, aged 40 years or younger in the year of nomination.

For the Under 25 Rising Star, nominees must be aged 25 years or younger in the year of nomination.

Can I nominate myself?

Yes, applications are open for self-nomination.

Can I nominate someone else?

Yes! Please make sure you have discussed it with the person you are nominating prior to completing the application.

How are nominees shortlisted and selected?

All complete applications for each Award category are reviewed by the judging panel and assessed on four main criteria: leadership in your field, championing cultural diversity, community engagement, and creating opportunities for others.

What if I’m unsuccessful, can I apply next year?

Of course, we encourage you to apply again.

Due to the high number of applications, unfortunately we cannot provide unsuccessful nominees with individual feedback.

Can I buy tickets to the Gala Dinner?

Yes, we welcome your interest in attending the Gala Dinner to support and celebrate Asian-Australians.
