Previously known as the ‘40 under 40 Most Influential Asian-Australian Awards’, the Awards recognise the achievements and leadership of young Asian-Australians across the following categories:

Nominees must identify as Asian-Australian and be under the age of 40 to be considered for the Awards, except for the Lifetime Achievement category that has an uncapped age limit.
Nominees must be Australian citizens or permanent residents, residing in Australia or abroad, and be aged 40 or under in the year of nomination.
For the Under 25 Rising Star, nominees must be aged 25 or under in the year of nomination.
Awardees are selected by an esteemed judging panel with an award winner for each category and an overall winner.
Category winners and the overall winner are announced at a Gala Dinner in Sydney in 2026.
Past winners include Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja; neuroscientist Dr Sonu Bhaskar; CEO of Media Diversity Australia Mariam Veiszadeh; barrister Lyma Nguyen; LPGA golfer and 2022 US Women's Open winner Minjee Lee; disability advocate Danny Hui; academic and superstar of STEM Dr Muneera Bano; broadcaster Benjamin Law; educator Eddie Woo, and many more.
